The work of art art studio in Prestwich

When did this begin?

The most common questions I am asked by my students are;

“When did you become an artist?”

“When did you start going to art lessons?”

“When did you become good at art?”

There is no one definitive answer for any of these questions. As most achievements in life, it develops over time. And so it is with art; you try this technique out, you study others artwork, you compare & you experiment with new techniques. And that is what I did!

Courses and qualifications

I have been drawing, colouring and painting ever since I can remember!

After taking private art classes with an experienced art teacher, during high school, I took the Art GCSE & enjoyed every minute of it.

During seminary, I did the A Level in Fine Art as well as a teachers training course. I loved doing both of these so much that I decided to pair the two of them up and teach art privately to children who attend Jewish schools. And that is how ‘The WORK of ART’ was born!

Art Lessons

Over the years, I have taught numerous students, ranging from 4 years old to 80 years old! (Yes, I have a ladies group & the seniors can’t get enough of it!)

What a privilege it is for me to be able to guide others in being creative, learn new techniques and build their confidence and skills!

Commissions

Over time, admirers of my paintings have commissioned me to create unique paintings to their requirements.

You can join my many happy clients and have a custom made piece of artwork painted just for you.

Further studies

As mentioned earlier, there is always further you can go with art. Whilst living for a short while in Jerusalem, I took a course in teaching oil painting. Recently, I have become very interested in swirl painting and would love to give it a go!
